With all the changes that have happened since July 2024 with the SFC Waiver program, all Caregivers in the state of Indiana are required to do up to 8 hours of in-service education every year to be in compliant with Medicaid rules and regulations.
Compassion Care provides access to free and easy to complete in-service training education through our website.
You can access these training modules on the “Caregiver Support” page by clicking on “Caregiver Training”.
You will watch a short video and then take a simple quiz.
Our Case Manager, Charnelle will start reaching out to all caregivers starting 12/9/24 to walk you through the process and make home visits if necessary.
It’s IMPORTANT that you get this training completed before 2/28/2025 when Medicaid will be auditing all Caregiver daily logs, monthly forms and training.
NOTE: If you have been a caregiver with us since March 2024 or earlier, your training must be completed by 1/31/2025 so we can submit to Medicaid before the audit.
